Our Chapter
The Ellis County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was born from the vision of nine Sorors who recognized the need for a Delta presence within the growing Ellis County community. Their commitment and collaboration led to the successful completion of the chartering process and the confirmation of 35 Sorors as charter members. On April 26, 2026, the Ellis County Alumnae Chapter was officially chartered, making history as the first Divine Nine sorority established specifically to serve Ellis County. The chapter proudly supports the communities of Ennis, Midlothian, Oak Leaf, Ovilla, Red Oak, and Waxahachie, advancing the Sorority’s legacy of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action.

The Ellis County Alumnae Chapter was established to advance public service, strengthen sisterhood, and support the communities of Ennis, Midlothian, Oak Leaf, Ovilla, Red Oak, and Waxahachie located in Ellis County Texas.
